Hospitality IPTV
IPTV distributes live channels and property-specific content over a properly designed network, rather than the traditional RF/MATV coaxial system. It allows electronic programme guides, branded channels, scheduling and much easier changes. Depending on the property, this may be an on-site headend or a cloud-managed option.
In-room streaming and casting
Guests expect to watch their own content. A hospitality casting system lets a guest pair their device to their room's TV only — usually by QR code — with sessions isolated between rooms and automatically reset at check-out.
Hotel smart TV platforms
Solution categories worth evaluating include Philips MediaSuite with Google Cast and LG Pro:Centric Cloud. Some TVs support casting natively; others use an external casting gateway. App and feature availability varies by model and region, so we confirm capabilities during design.

Frequently asked questions
Can we just install consumer Chromecasts?
Consumer Chromecasts aren't designed for multi-room hotel use and can expose guests to each other's devices. A hospitality casting architecture is the safer path — see our Chromecast hotel casting page.
Do we have to replace every TV?
Not necessarily. Some properties retrofit gateways to existing compatible TVs. We assess the current fleet first.
