Designed around a long table
Long tables challenge both cameras and microphones. A single video bar at one end rarely captures the far seats well. We typically consider multiple cameras with speaker tracking, ceiling microphone arrays with defined pickup zones and a DSP to manage echo cancellation and gain across the room.
Typical boardroom components
- Dual large-format displays or a fine-pitch LED wall
- Front and side PTZ or intelligent cameras
- Ceiling tile or beamforming microphone arrays
- Distributed ceiling speakers
- Digital signal processor (DSP)
- Touch control panel and room booking display
- Equipment rack with managed power
- Table connectivity and wireless presentation
Finishes that respect the fit-out
We work with your architect, joiner and builder on joinery cut-outs, recessed displays, ceiling coordination and concealed cable paths so the technology looks as considered as the room.
How commissioning works
Every system is tested against an agreed functional checklist before handover: display calibration, camera framing, microphone pickup at each seat, echo cancellation, speaker levels, control panel logic, content sharing from typical guest laptops and platform sign-in.
We document the as-built configuration, label cabling and equipment, walk your team through day-to-day use and leave a simple quick-start guide in the room.
Frequently asked questions
Should we choose LED or LCD for a boardroom?
Fine-pitch LED offers a seamless large image; dual LCD displays are typically lower cost and simple to service. We compare both against viewing distance and budget.
Can the boardroom also host presentations and town halls?
Yes — we can add presenter cameras, wireless microphones and streaming outputs for larger internal events.
