Why table mics fall short
Table microphones work, but they get moved, covered with papers and cluttered with cables. In long rooms, people at the ends are often too far away.
What ceiling arrays do
Beamforming ceiling arrays steer pickup towards active talkers within defined zones, keeping tables clear and voices consistent.
Room acoustics still matter
Ceiling mics hear the room too. Hard, reverberant rooms may need acoustic treatment for best results.
